To mark the exciting arrival of the Eisteddfod to Rhondda Cynon Taf, a festival of Leisure for Life has been launched – and everyone is invited to join the celebrations!
The Leisure for Life summer pass offers two weeks’ unlimited access to the gym, swimming, fitness classes and indoor sports.
The passes can be purchased with no obligation to take out a membership and you can buy as many of them as you like, consecutively, throughout the duration of the offer (up to September 9, 2024).
As with all Leisure for Life membership options and prices, there are concessions for those who are aged under 16 or over 60, as well as students and those on qualifying benefits.
If you are in Rhondda Cynon Taf for the Eisteddfod, pick up passes for yourself, your friends or your family and keep on top of your health and fitness routine while you are here!
Use for gym, swimming, fitness classes, health suites and indoor sports across the 11 Leisure for Life centres located in Rhondda Cynon Taf – including Pontypridd town centre’s Llys Cadwyn and Abercynon and Hawthorn, which are located close to the park and rides and the camp site.
The pass is perfect for:
- Giving young people positive activities to enjoy during the long summer holidays. Swimming, indoor sports such as badminton, squash and table tennis and age-appropriate fitness classes are all included in the pass.
- Those aged 11 and over who want to start using our gyms, which are full of the latest equipment, including Technogym, and digital technology. Qualified staff are on hand to assist with gym induction, help with correct use of machines and suggest routines. Plus, you can enjoy a swim afterwards!
- College or university students who have returned home to Rhondda Cynon Taf for the summer holidays, who want a no-obligation way to access leisure and fitness and keep up their routines.
- Residents of all ages who have been considering a return to leisure and want to do so with no obligation. Simply buy a two-week pass and use it for whatever classes/gym sessions/swimming sessions/indoor sports bookings you like, at any centre. If you like it, buy another pass or consider a membership!
- Gifts – if you know someone who has a birthday or special occasion between now and September 9 (the date when the pass can last be purchased) gift them a Leisure for Life two-week pass!
The Festival of Leisure passes can be purchased between now and September 9. Each pass runs for two weeks and you can buy as many as you like during the offer period.

Passes are £14 for those aged under 18 and over 60 and those on qualifying benefits.
Passes are £24 for those aged over 18, who do not qualify for concessionary rates.
