Adult Community Learning Partnership

The partnership delivers a wide range of courses for adult learning in the community.  All partners work closely together to provide a clear pathway through each level of learning, supporting leaners of all abilities from complete beginners to Level 3 learners and beyond.

Each partner can provide different categories of learning from arts and Crafts to Vocational accredited courses.

RCT ACL offer courses to learners across the County Borough from engagement to level 3. Courses are delivered in community venues and libraries.

There are a wide variety of courses to develop pathways for learners to re-engage on their learning journey. We work closely with RCT Work and Skills to refer learners into employment related training via their Employment Routes Programme.

Adult-Learning-Wales

ALW are the only all Wales provider of Adult Community Learning. The organisation provides community education, including community development and on-line learning in communities and in the workplace.

We work through a local branch structure and through partnership working with community and voluntary organisations.

The organisation offers a wide range of learning opportunities for people in Wales wishing to re-engage with education, in particular those who do not wish to follow traditional education routes or are experiencing disadvantage.

University-of-South-Wales

The University of South Wales is committed to supporting underrepresented groups of any age, background or ethnic group and ensuring they are given a fair and equal opportunity to study in a supported manner.

USW offer a range of FREE introductory taster courses in local communities and online.  These courses intend to build confidence, help your career, and provide a way back into learning and further study.  

Our courses are open to adults over 18 years old, of all backgrounds.

Careers-Wales

Careers Wales provide all-age careers guidance and coaching for people in Wales. We can help you to plan your career, prepare to get a job, and find and apply for the right apprenticeships, courses and training.

We support learners in education, teachers and professionals, employers, parents and guardians.

Careers Wales also deliver the Working Wales service which provides free, impartial, careers advice and guidance for anyone aged 16 and over.

Working Wales can help you change your story by offering Advice and coaching on career change.

Coleg-y-Cymoedd-2

At Coleg y Cymoedd, we are dedicated to equipping our learners with a diverse skill set and knowledge for future success. Our unique approach focuses on enhancing fundamental skills, vocational skills, and core competencies during their educational journey.

We emphasise the significance of Welsh language proficiency as a key employability skill, seamlessly integrating it into the curriculum.

Learners at Coleg y Cymoedd can choose from a wide range of full and part-time courses across 15+ curriculum areas, accommodating diverse abilities from Entry to Degree level.

Multiply

Multiply is a new programme aimed at helping adults aged 19+ improve their confidence with numbers in everyday life. It offers easy access to a wide range of FREE courses designed to improve your confidence with numbers.

Whether you would like help managing your money, supporting your children with their homework or you want to progress at work, we can help.

Calon-Taf

Calon Taf is a Heritage and Education centre that provides courses and activities within Ynysangharad War Memorial Park. Based next to the beaitifully renovated Bandstand, Calon Taf features a classroom, garden area and large greenhouse. Our venue is also available to hire

We are funded by the National Heritage Lottery Fund, Welsh Government Transforming Towns and Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council.

Trivallis

We are a community mutual housing association which is owned by our tenants, rooted in our local communities, and working through collaboration and partnership.

We provide homes to 25,000 people in Rhondda Cynon Taff and Cardiff Bay. Our primary role is delivering homes which are safe, secure and affordable to people who are in in greatest need. However, we are more than a landlord. We are a tenant-owned, locally-anchored and collaborative organisation. Our role in community development, community regeneration and individual wellbeing is at the heart of what we do.
