Valleys Regional Park

Dare Valley Country Park is one of the Valleys Regional Park twelve Discover Gateway sites across South Wales.
VRP Discovery Gateways are your launchpads into the Welsh landscape and heritage that make up the story of the iconic South Wales Valleys. They are places where you can get out and about, have fun, explore the landscape and find out more about nature.
In 2019 Dare Valley Country Park received Welsh Government funding through Valleys Regional Park. As a result of the funding and being a VRP Discovery Gateway, in Dare Valley Country Park you’ll find, a fantastic new adventure playground, bikes to hire and ride on the Gravity Family Bike Park trails, a freshly lined car park plus refurbished caravan park complete with fully accessible shower block AND fantastic hotel accommodation. All this was achieved with the help of Valleys Regional Park.
