Most health care services across Rhondda Cynon Taf are carried out by Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.

Registering with a local General Practice to access healthcare

Anyone in Wales can register with a GP Practice within their locality (there is NO CHARGE for this service). You do not need proof of address or immigration status, ID or a NHS number.

Dental

If experiencing pain or swelling and need an urgent appointment patients should contact 0300 1235060. This number operates between 9am to 4.30pm on weekdays (Monday to Friday) & also during Out of Hours 6.30pm to 8am on weekdays and 24 hours on weekends and bank holidays. If the patient meets the criteria, they will be offered an urgent appointment.

Optometry

Patients can contact any local optometrist.
