What is a Review Conference?

Normally after the initial conference, a review will be held after 3 months.

The purpose will to be decide whether your child/children or the child/children you care for are still at risk of significant harm. They will also discuss whether the reason for registration i.e., physical abuse is still the same or needs to be changed and whether any changes are needed to the plan. There could be specialist assessments shared or new information that could help decision making. If the name of your child/children or the child/children you care for needs to remain on the register, reviews will then be held every six months.
