Residents may notice works activity in Llantrisant from next week, to rebuild an existing private wall above High Street – with the scheme expected to cause minimal overall disruption.
The scheme will begin on Tuesday, May 30, and will last approximately two months in total. Contractor Spectrum Construction Services is appointed to carry out the work.
The only anticipated disruption at High Street will be a single, short road closure to remove scaffolding towards the end of the scheme – which will be scheduled outside of peak hours.
Some off-peak road closures will also be required at the bottom of Church Street to facilitate concrete pours, but these will be short in duration.
Further information will be communicated to residents in due course, once the details of the required closures are finalised by the contractor.
