A weather warning of snow and ice affecting parts of Rhondda Cynon Taf has been issued for this weekend (February 13-14).
Motorists undertaking essential journeys are advised to take extra care and drive according to the winter conditions.
Weather conditions will be closely monitored throughout the weekend and the Council’s Highways crews will be treating the main network and high routes in preparation and during winter weather.
Crews have also checked Grit Bin supplies in advance at locations across the County Borough. Additional staff resources are also available to take proactive actions and respond to any issues, should they arise.
