The Period Dignity in Communities Grant is an initiative to provide period products to those who have financial or emotional barriers.
Key Information:
Grants are available to community groups who have capacity to store products and who are directly supporting those who will benefit.
Period products are provided in a bundle. 81 percent of these products are climate and/or eco- friendly.
Groups wishing to receive a bundle to distribute within the community, will sign up to terms and conditions, with the main points including:
- Agree to provide products free at the point of use.
- Agree to attend a Reusable Item Workshop. This will either be in person or online.
- Agree to advertise your venue on the Council website as an outlet.
Period Dignity products are available across Rhondda Cynon Taf.
