Festival Line Up 2024

The music stage at Aberdare Festival opens at 11am and features some great local talent this year including:

LA Performance Academy Wales – the Mountain Ash based musical theatre academy.

Studio Streetwise - Aberdare’s street dance school

Dean Yhnell/Beat Technique - with a talent for beatboxing, composing, DJing and teaching music, Beat Technique has garnered recognition as one of the top music educators in the UK. Dean has performed at Royal Ascot, 02 London, Royal Albert Hall, Aviva Stadium, Glastonbury, St Davids Hall, ICC, Nass Festival, Greenman Festival, Silverstone Racecourse. Last year Dean performed to 82 thousand people at the Stade de France, solidifying his status as a world-class performer.

Keyz Collective - a 3-piece drum and bass band from Cardiff, made up of live instrumentation, smooth vocals, and lots of energy. From opening up Immersed 2024 to performing at Cardiff Castle, they are truly making space for the ravers of Wales.

Kurt Jones - a self-taught singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist hailing from the Rhondda Valleys.

Superchoir Aberdare – Superchoir will be bringing their feelgood vibes and high energy to the stage at this year’s festival!

Cat Southall  - a singer and songwriter from Aberdare best known for her power house vocals, her effervescent sensibility, her quirky sense of style and her highly visual theatrical stage shows.  Cat has collaborated with artists including Bastille, Katherine Jenkins, Leona Lewis and most famously with Welsh icons the Manic Street Preachers.
