Fancy discovering the history of Pontypridd, a town born from the industrial revolution? Pontypridd has lots to offer from the National Lido of Wales, Lido Ponty, the rejuvenated Pontypridd Market, and the William Edwards 'Old Bridge' which was once the longest single span bridge in the world.

The trail will navigate you passed these key attractions and more, whilst talking through our fascinating history which includes being the birthplace for the Welsh National Anthem, which was composed by the James brothers whilst residing in the town. Pair with the Pontypridd Audio Trail track for more information about the town's history.

The 3.2km walk starts at Pontypridd Museum and finishes at Pontypridd Market, taking approximately 1 hour to complete. Couple the trail with a dip in the Lido, a browse around Pontypridd Museum and a delicious meal in one of the town's many eateries for a great afternoon out.
