Part of the National Cycle Network, this traffic free path runs alongside the Church Village by-pass and is suitable for both walkers and cyclists.
The route is great for a gentle stroll or bike ride and offers attractive scenery and views of the beautiful countryside which includes a landscape of ancient woods, farms and wild flowers. Along the route you'll find a number of picnic tables (don't forget your snack), benches (for when you need a little rest) and interesting pieces of artwork and information boards (if you fancy a look)!
The 6km route can be accessed at various points (see the leaflet for details), though starts at Cheriton Grove in Tonteg and finishes at Llantrisant Road in Cross Inn. The route can be joined up with the Treforest Community Route which takes you to the Taff Trail (NCN Route 8).
