From Tracy Purnell, the Get Outside Ordnance Survey Champion and her two canine companions (Asher the Husky and Marley the Malamute), comes this beautiful Pen-Pych circular walk.
Spectacular sights along the route include two dramatic waterfalls (Nant Carnfoesan and Nant Melyn), views of the Rhondda Fawr Valley, an Iron Age stone hut circle and the Pen-Pych mountain.
The 9.1km route starts and finishes at the Pen Pych Woodland Car Park (grid reference SS 924 991). For more information about the walk including the Ordnance Survey map check out Tracy's blog post.
Please note this is a walk of moderate intensity, the terrain in some places can be steep and uneven, and paths will include tracks, pavement and steps. There may be gates and stiles which will be unsuitable for wheelchairs, buggies and prams.
