Day 2

Morning – Zip World Tower (90mins)

Afternoon – National Lido of Wales - Lido Ponty.

Lido Ponty, a Grade II listed lido, has been restored to its former glory and updated for the 21st Century visitor.

It has three heated swimming pools, offering great opportunities for families, dedicated swimmers and social swimmers of all ages and abilities.

Lido Ponty features external and internal showers, heated changing facilities and a state-of-the-art Visitors’ Centre which tells the amazing story of The National Lido of Wales.

It’s set in the heart of the beautiful Ynysangharad War Memorial Park, take time to explore the grounds, bandstand and sunken garden. See the statue that’s a tribute to Evan and James James, who composed the iconic Welsh National Anthem right here. Stroll along the banks of the River Taff, or pick up the Taff Trail, which runs through the park on its way from Cardiff to Brecon.
