Reference library
Aberdare Library has a separate reference and local studies library. Its collection covers the Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough with special emphasis being placed upon the Taff Vale area. The collection contains books, newspapers, periodicals, maps, plans, directories, illustrations and ephemera. Census returns and Electoral Registers are amongst the many records available for people researching their family history.
Dedicated reference staff are not always available at these locations. Please contact the Library to book an appointment or enquire if a dedicated member of staff is available at the required time.
