Mental ill health is very common and can affect people of all ages. There are various services available to help support you with your mental health. 

For urgent mental health support call 111 and press OPTION 2. This number is free to call, and the services runs 24/7 for people of all ages. You will be connected to a mental health professional in your area.

For Children and Young People

Eye to Eye Counselling - Eye to Eye Counselling Service is for children and young people across RCT. They offer free and confidential support for anyone between the ages of 10-30. Home | Eyetoeyerct

Mind Hub – Created by young people for young people. This website provides information and links to relevant services in relation to your mental health and well-being. They have links to services for depression, bullying, anxiety, body image, and more. Mind Hub

Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) – CAMHS is a team of professionals who offer support for the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people. They offer different types of therapies (including group therapy, family therapy, and cognitive behavioural therapy) and you can be referred into the service by a professional such as your GP, Social Worker, and more. Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTM UHB)- CTM UHB offer a range of Mental Health Services for adults living in RCT. Visit their website to find the different types of support available, as well as self-help resources and Specialist Mental Health Services:

Valleys Steps – Valleys Steps is a well-being charity set up to help people help themselves. They offer free online workshops covering topics such as stress management, panic and anxiety, sleep, mindfulness, and more.
